Primary School Dance Competition

On Saturday 19th August 2017, 12 girls from Alamanda College participated in the Primary School Dance Competition.

Although we didn’t win a placing, the girls did Alamanda proud. We received extremely promising scores from the judges however we lacked points that totalled from the audience votes (overall results were based on 50% judges scores and 50% audience votes).

On the bright side, our team won one of the biggest award of the night – Most Entertaining Performance of the night. The girls were really thrilled!

The girls worked really hard during practise, showed commitment and were great risk-takers as it was their first time participating in a competition. They represented the school with integrity by being principled when constantly listening to instructions from teachers and organisers. They also wished the other teams ‘good luck’ and constantly motivated the other teams through-out the competition. Well done!”
