Every year, the CBCA Children’s Book Week is celebrated by students and teachers in schools across Australia. The week is used to promote and explore Australian children’s literature, and our school was no exception! Every classroom began the week by displaying their class’ focus book on their doors, creating a kaleidoscope of colours and images throughout the school. The week culminated in a dress-up day on Friday, August 25th, where excited students paraded through the school dressed as their favourite book characters. In addition, each class worked cooperatively to create their very own class book – which are now on display next to the Great Space!
