Alamanda staff presented “Curiosity: the heart of learning” at the Global International Baccalaureate Conference in Hong Kong. We were thrilled that the proposal for the workshop was accepted by the IB Organisation for this international forum. The presentation by Lynette Jobson, Kirsten Sullivan, Felicity Mayes, Will Soo and Ellin Tideswell showcased student vignettes highlighting student curiosity and thinking and the actions taken when students are engaged deeply and authentically in inquiry learning. We are so proud that the presentation highlights the teaching and learning being undertaken at our school. We do look forward to hear how their presentation was received.
