A huge congratulations to the Hairspray cast and crew for four magnificent performances (and a handful of rehearsals/matinees) over the past week! The production has once again showcased students from across the College, demonstrating their talent, passion and courage, and we couldn’t be prouder of them. The production was engaging, funny and presented with care and professionalism. Hairspray was a true Alamanda choice, as it aimed to shine light on issues such as diversity, acceptance and leadership; woven together through song, dance and performance. Thank you to those in the community who supported the production, attending one of the four almost all sold-out performances. And an enormous thank you goes out to the staff who worked tirelessly with the cast, chorus and backstage supporters to make this experience possible for our students – Ms Burney, Ms Osborne and Ms Dunlop, this could not have been achieved without your dedication, passion and dream!
