Dear Alamanda families
Advice today would suggest that foodbank has a lot of donations of goods they are working through.
Foodbank has suggested donation of cash would be helpful, but families are aware of this need from many sources and can make donations to agencies of their choice.
My opinion is that we wait another week and see what is needed as the situation evolves .
Most certainly any action we take needs to be considered and a useful resource for communities so sometimes waiting is the best response when in doubt .
I am sure the rain today has given us all hope of some rain arriving to calm the raging fires a little .
Let us all cross our fingers 🤞for this light rain to make its way to the fire areas .
I will keep in contact towards the end of the week.
